Sky Ireland offers Sky HD Box for only 49 Euros

Sky Ireland are promoting their Sky HD service with their lowest ever price for a Sky HD Box – only 49 Euros.

The Sky HD Box includes all the benefits of the well-known Sky Plus Box – eg  you can pause, rewind and record live TV, and record some series in their entirity with their Series Link service – with the ability to receive and record programmes in HD.  HD programmes offer greater clarity and depth or colour. (The HD programmes available depend on the entertainment and premium packs a customer signs up for.)

To take advantage of this sky HD offer from Sky Ireland, users must be new Sky Ireland customers and take out a monthly subscription to the Sky HD Pack which costs 14.75 Euros a month.

The Sky TV service itself starts at only 20.50 Euros a month for one entertainment pack, rising to only 30.50 Euros a month for all six entertainment packs. There is also a free bonus pack including popular terrestrial channels. Adding Sky’s premium packs costs extra – the monthly cost of all six entertainment packs plus Sky Sports and Sky Movies from Sky Ireland currently costs 69.50 Euros a month.

As additional incentives, until 26/03/09 there is free standard installation for new Sky Ireland customers signing up to HD, and all new Sky TV customers currently get a 25 Euro credit on their Sky account when they sign up online.
