YouTube launches UK website

Video website YouTube, owned by Google, has launched a UK site. It will have country specific video listings and rankings.

Over half ofYouTube users are from outside the US – so the company has also launched eight other new country sites, in Brazil, France, Ireland, Italy, Japan, the Netherlands, Poland, and Spain.
